On the 15th of March, Noua Dreapta (The New Right) organized a massive
anti-war demonstration in Romania's capital, Bucharest.
We manifested in this way to show our disagreement with regard to the presence of American troops on our land as well as with regard to our government's decision to involve Romania in a foreign war of aggression, that we don't want a part in.
The event enjoyed the presence of the most important TV channels and newspapers.
Noua Dreapta militants were joined by hundreds of passers-by in their march through the city centre. The march ended with a rousing speech, much appreciated by the audience, given by ND's vice-president, Nicolae Calota.
