In an atmosphere dominated by comradeship and enthusiasm the Romanian nationalist organisation Noua Dreapta celebrated, on Saturday 27 November, 5 years from its foundation.
The anniversary coincided with the traditional Corneliu Codreanu Memorial March, organized every year by Noua Dreapta in honour of Codreanu and his comrades? sacrifice. Over 100 ND militants, accompanied by a delegation of Spanish Falange, marched towards the Tancabesti forest, to the place where Corneliu Codreanu and 13 of his comrades were murdered on 30 November 1938.
A religious service took place near the memorial monument, followed by short speeches delivered by the leaders of Noua Dreapta - Tudor Ionescu (National Chairman), Dan Ghita and Nicolae Calota (Vice Chairmans), Claudiu Mihutiu (General Secretary) - and by the foreign guests, who evoked the memory of those killed 66 years ago.
The '5 years of struggle' anniversary of Noua Dreapta was marked the same afternoon by a festive lunch. General Secretary Claudiu Mihutiu, presented the messages of solidarity sent by Noua Dreapta?s partner organizations: NPD (Germany), England First (England), Bund Freier Jugend (Austria), Mouvement Nation (Belgium), Bloc Identitaire (France), NOP (Poland), PNR (Portugal), Obraz (Serbia), Slovenska Pospolitost (Slovakia), followed by the speech delivered by Mr. Felipe Perez, General Secretary of La Falange.
In the second part of the ceremony, Noua Dreapta local units? leaders delivered short speeches and the ceremony was concluded by the awarding of diplomas to the honorary members of the organisation and of ?Noua Dreapta: 5 years of struggle? anniversary badges.
