On the 4th oh June 2005, the nationalist movements
?Noua Dreapta? from Romania, ?Obraz? from Serbia and
?Slovenska Pospolitost? from Slovakia, organized a
conjoint and simultaneous action in support of the
Trianon Peace Treaty, in order to draw attention on
the chauvinist and revisionist manifestations that
take place every year in Hungary on the 4th of June
(the day the Trianon treaty was signed).
Through this treaty, signed between the Antanta and
The Allied forces (on one side), and Hungary (on the
other side), Hungary was forced to give up
abusive-held territories in favor of Cehoslovakia,
Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. For Romania,
this treaty ment worldwide acceptance of
Transilvania?s union with Romania.
Sadly, even today there are many Hungarians that don?t
cope with the settlements of the Trianon treaty. Even
more, after the fall of communism, in Hungary and the
hungarian diaspora from Romania, Slovakia and Serbia,
anti-Trianon manifestations are being organized every
year, with the avowed purpose to destabilize and
dismember Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.
The nationalist movements ?Noua Dreapta?, ?Slovenska
Pospolitost? and ?Obraz? consider that fratricidal
wars in Europe must stop once and for all, but this is
something that Hungarians must understand, too. The
problems that our continent face are severe enough:
servility to the United States? aggressive politics,
the passing of bolshevik-like laws inside the EU, the
migration of non-european immigrants that already
began modifying the ethnic structure of the old
continent, high-level corruption and so on.
This is why our organizations think that the old
chauvinistic ideologies must be replaced with a new
nationalism, based on the belief in God, respect and
cooperation between our nations.
