On the 26th of November 2005, the Romanian neo-legionary movement Noua Dreapta (New Right) organized the 7th edition of the traditional Corneliu Codreanu Memorial March. Over 100 ND militants, accompanied by a large delegation of French nationalists and representatives of Nordiska Forbundet from Sweden, marched from the Romanian capital Bucharest towards the place where Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, the founder of the Legionary Movement and martyr of the Romanian people has been ritually murdered.
A religious service took place in front of the memorial monument, followed by short speeches delivered by the foreign guests and the leaders of Noua Dreapta who evoked the memory of those killed 67 years ago and made a solemn vow to never give up the stuggle that they started and the ideals for whom they sacrificed themselves.
Many European parties and movements sent messages of solidarity: Mouvement Nation (Belgium), Renouveau Francais (France), Nationale Alliantie (Holland), Partido Nacional Renovador (Portugal), Obraz (Serbia), Slovenska Pospolitost (Slovakia), Vlastenecka Fronta (Czech Republic), England First (England), Russkii Obraz, Pamyat, RNE and Movement Against Illegal Immigration (Russia).
